Sync dropping connection

We have had a coupe users say that they are having problems with the Sync completing. This only seems to be an issue when one of the devices is an iPad. We even experienced this problem here. We determined that all the problems are caused by some communication problem between the iPad and our Belkin N+ wireless router. Once we switched over to a Linksys Wi-Fi router, the problems pretty much went away. We never had problems between any iPhone or iPod Touch with the Belkin and this seems limited to the iPad.

If you are having this problem and cannot replace your Wi-Fi router, you should then use Bluetooth for Syncing. On one device, turn off the Wi-Fi. Then make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on both devices and do the sync. It is a little bit slower than the Wi-Fi, but has proven to be 100% reliable in our tests. Since there is a lot of rumblings on the internet about the iPad Wi-Fi issues, we hope that Apple will figure out how to fix this in some future software update. Until then, you may have to use Bluetooth. The good thing about the Bluetooth is that you can use this anywhere as no Wi-Fi is required.
